Thursday January 17th
I am a little foggy on the order of things last week, but I
believe it was Thursday that I went with Mark to Bludenz for the first time. We
took the train after school and began our tour of the city. I heard about
15,000 people live in Bludenz, making it one of the biggest villages in
Vorarlberg. When we arrived we followed the signs and went to McDonalds. After
an unhealthy American meal we walked to a nearby mall and checked it out. Turns
out that the mall in Bludenz is the second biggest in Vorarlberg (after
Messepark) so we browsed around there for a while before ehading back into the
downtown part of Bludenz. We went to the church on the hill and admired the
grand design of the church (like every other one in Europe) before descending
back down to grab a coffee. Faith, another exhange student, lives in Bludenz so
she joined us at the café and we caught up for a bit. Mark and I got back on
the train and headed home.
