With the Hladiks, Jutsons, and a Maurer

Tuesday February 5th
Today wasn’t the best ski day for the trip. It was a little warm so the snow was sticky and it was incredibly foggy. The foggiest day so far this year I think. You could  barely even see the lift in front of you. But we went out for about an hour and took about one run on each lift. I went back to the house early because it wasn’t that good and I had to figure out a problem with the shipping of my intervalometer. I called the German company again and realized I don’t have my order number. Luckily, my mom took care of it over email and it should be on its way now. Later in the afternoon Thomas skinned up to the house to spend the night. We made dinner, and played games. Activity is a favorite, it’s where you describe a word either using words, drawings or actions. I turned out to be pretty good at it because I explain things with really basic German words I think. Also I learned how to play Jassen, which is a typical Austrian card game. We went upstairs and watched the first half of Hot Rod to welcome in my birthday.

Kind of surreal

Just a sign. Nothing else.

Mysterious

A special group of iced over aspens

Snowballs

2-Layered cake

Well it cleared up. Wow.
